Christine E. Arendas, Esquire was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006, after a 13 year career as a Paralegal. She was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida in 2008. She received Florida Bar board certification in Adoption in 2013 and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys in 2014. Ms. Arendas received her certification as a Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Mediator in 2009.
Ms. Arendas’s practice focuses on Adoption, Surrogacy, Family, Guardianship and Probate. Her primary focus is on adoption and surrogacy matters including domestic adoptions, DCF interventions, grandparent and stepparent adoptions, relative and non-relative adoptions, gestational surrogacy contracts and representation, as well as, egg, sperm, and embryo donation contracts and represents interstate and intrastate adoptions.
Ms. Arendas serves as the Executive Director of A Chosen Child, Inc., a licensed child-placing agency. She is the Vice Chair of the Legal Aid Society of Osceola, the Secretary for Idignity Osceola, Inc, and board member of the Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court. She served as the president for the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers in 2010-2011. She is a longstanding member of the Orange County Bar Association, Osceola County Bar Association, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Florida Adoption Council.
Ms. Arendas volunteers with the Osceola County Teen Court Program, Boy Scouts of America, IDignity Osceola, and is a Justice Teaching Volunteer. She also teaches Adoption Law as an adjunct professor at Barry University School of Law.
