Family Lawyer Tee Persad, Esq.

Mr. Persad has worked in the legal profession for over 20 years. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, the United States Virgin Islands, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his Juris Doctor and Masters degree in Public Administration degree from the University of Akron in 1993 and 1994, respectively. He also holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands, a diploma in paralegal studies from New York University, and certification from the Harvard Law School Program on Negotiation, Leadership, and Conflict Resolution.

Mr. Persad’s experience in family law started when he was a judicial clerk to judges and magistrates in Family Court in Summit County, Ohio. Since moving to Central Florida in 1995, he has represented both men and women in dissolving their relationships in divorces, child custody, child support, alimony, and property distribution matters. Because of his business experience and additional educational background, he has been able to help his clients resolve complex property distribution issues as well as complex alimony and child support issues. Attorney Persad’s thoughtful and thorough approach helps him to minimize his client’s costs while maximizing their potential to successfully resolve their case. Also, as a certified family law mediator, Attorney Persad has the ability to help all parties reach a fair decision at mediation.
